In this video, Dr. Rose Magno explains how missing teeth can affect your bite, speech, oral health, and overall quality of life.
Why is it important to replace missing teeth? First of all, you’re not going to be eating properly without them.
Another reason is that your teeth will start shifting. When you have missing teeth, the teeth on top may move down into the missing area, or the bottom teeth may move upward. The teeth on the sides start rotating and leaning toward the missing space, and eventually, your bite gets thrown off.
Then your TMJ can get thrown off, and you may have difficulty biting or develop headaches. There are many reasons why you need to replace missing teeth.
Especially if the missing teeth are in the front, it can affect the way you talk, speak, or play instruments. If you’re missing teeth or have loose dentures, come to our office. Call our number and meet with me so we can discuss your options.
I think you’ll be happy with what your options are and what I can do for you.
