Do You Accept Dental Insurance?

In this video, Dr. Rose Magno explains how dental insurance works for mini dental implant treatment and what patients should realistically expect from their benefits.

I know dental insurance moves the needle for some people, but you also have to think about your health and the long-term condition of your mouth. A lot of the time, insurance is not going to fully cover the treatment you need or want. Dental insurance is really there to help offset some of the cost, not necessarily pay for everything.

Most plans only provide around $1,500 to $2,000 per year in benefits, so many patients choose to think of that amount as a contribution toward the treatment they need. The important thing is making sure you receive the care that improves your oral health and quality of life.

If you have a PPO or Premier dental insurance plan, you can use your dental benefits at our office. We accept these plans and work with you to maximize your coverage so you can make the most of your available benefits.

However, if you have an HMO, Medi-Cal, or Denti-Cal plan, those benefits typically cannot be used at our office because those programs require government participation and reimbursement structures that we do not accept here.

No matter what type of insurance you have, we’ll help you understand your options and determine the best treatment plan for your needs.
