In this video, Dr. Rose Magno explains why mini dental implants often cost less than traditional two-piece implant systems.
Well, it’s going to cost a lot less than the two-piece implants, I’m sure, because I used to do a lot of two-piece implants. Because of the work and the intensity involved, they’re going to cost a lot more than mini implants. It’s a lot less expensive because there are fewer parts needed to finish the job.
With two-piece implants, you need the implant, then a second piece, then a third piece. There’s another screw and so many little parts. It’s very time-consuming, very tedious, and it also involves surgery, which a lot of our patients don’t want. The mini implants are pretty quick.
So if you’re looking for a more comfortable procedure with less trauma and less pain, then go with the minis.
