How We Keep Patients Comfortable During Dental Implant Treatment
In this video, Dr. Rose Magno explains the simple steps she takes to help patients stay comfortable and relaxed during dental implant treatment.
You know what? You just need to be relaxed in the chair. We’ll give you some antibiotics so you don’t get an infection. We give you antibiotics prior to surgery or prior to implants so you don’t get infected. Have a good night’s rest, eat before coming in, and just take Advil and Tylenol. Really, that’s all you need. Maybe take it an hour before and then every four to six hours for the next day or two, or maybe not.
It really depends on your tolerance and how comfortable and relaxed you are in the chair. If you’re relaxed, we’re all relaxed, and your body relaxes, so it’s easier for your body to take the numbing, and you’ll be nice and numb for the whole procedure.
