The Mini Dental Implant Process Explained

The first step is to schedule an appointment so I can perform a thorough exam. During this visit, I’ll take the necessary X-rays, which may vary depending on your situation. Initially, we’ll need to confirm that you’re a suitable candidate for the procedure. Once you’ve been approved, I may take a second set of X-rays to gather additional information. Afterward, we can discuss your treatment options, and I’ll answer any questions you have to ensure you’re comfortable and fully informed.

Once we’ve determined the best course of action for you, we’ll proceed with taking impressions. Depending on your needs and preferences, we can place the implant the same day. If you have an upcoming event, like a wedding, and need your teeth restored quickly, we can make accommodations to help you with that.

After placing the implant, we can proceed with attaching a temporary or permanent restoration, such as an overdenture or fixed bridge. Before finalizing, we’ll ensure that you’re happy with the color, size, and shape of the restoration. It’s also essential to check that your bite feels comfortable.

You’ll have 30 days to ensure everything fits well and to address any adjustments needed. We include this adjustment period in the cost of the procedure to ensure your comfort and satisfaction. During this time, you can visit us as needed to make sure everything works properly and meets your expectations.
