What Denture Options Are Available?

In this video, Dr. Rose Magno explains the different denture options available, from snap-on dentures to fixed implant bridges.

Okay, so let’s say you have a bridge that you don’t like and you haven’t been happy with it for a long time because it’s loose. Well, there are many options for you.
One option is that if you like your denture, we can stabilize it. We put the implants in and use a snap-on technique where we snap your denture onto the implants.
If you don’t like your dentures because they’re worn down or discolored, then we can absolutely replace your denture and use the same snap-on technology.
Another option is a fixed bridge. If you’re done with the plastic and the adhesives, and you’re tired of tasting your food through plastic, then we can place multiple implants and make a fixed bridge for you. It gets cemented on, and you never have to take it off.
We can also use a semi-removable fixed bridge. That means we can remove it for you, but you don’t take it off yourself. We might remove it once a year or once every two years to make sure everything is clean underneath, and then we cement it back on. But you never have to take it out yourself. That’s our job, and you’ll come to the office for annual checkups.
If you’re interested in knowing what your options are, give our office a call. We’ll do a consultation and discuss what we can do for you.
